Eclectic Electronics is a blog containing technology news, information about home theater, deals and some random comments.

I am known as blued888 across various forums (Audioholics Forum, AVS Forum, PinoyDVD, DVDTalk Forum, Twitter), I currently reside in the Philippines but have also tried life/working in the United States.

Brief description of each category:

• Deals: Items priced lower than the usual and what I would consider great buys if you have the money to spend on them. Can also be used to track the sales pattern of some items, how often they’ve gone on sale and if there are any price fluctuations.
• Digital SLR Photography: Some discoveries I have made while shooting with my DSLR. Some tips and basic explanations.
• DVD: Articles pertaining to the format, may include news, opinions, comment on current content.
• Home Theater: Articles pertaining to setting up your own home theater, tweaking, news and possibly reviews, on various components.
• Mobile Phones: Anything about mobile phones, may also include information on applications.
• News: Most will be technology-related news, although some may get mixed in if I find them to be rather interesting.
  
• Random Comments: My thoughts/opinions on some things, can be about anything under the yellow sun.
• Random Photo on a Random Day: Random photos I like to share on random days.
• Social Media/Networking: Articles related to social/media networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Digg, StumbleUpon, etc.
  
• TV Show Comments: Comments on recently watched television shows.
