Today marks one of the most historic events in American history. Barack H. Obama became the 44th President of the United States of America. He is also the first ever African-American to be elected into the highest ranking office of the United States. Inauguration Day is traditionally done at the United States Capitol in Washington, DC.

The picture shown above shows the innumerable crowd that attended the inauguration ceremony. I was hanging out on Twitter’s site and it actually felt weird that I was somewhere amidst the inauguration because everyone was just talking and commenting about it.
Hopefully the President’s goals and dreams for the country will be achieved by his administration, as the United States is really in a crisis right now amidst the subprime mortgage crisis and credit crunching.
God Bless America.
