EA is offering free downloads of classic Command & Conquer games in order to hype you up for the upcoming Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight which is expected to be released on March 16, 2010.
Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun plus its Firestorm expansion pack is a commanding 1.2GB download in one file (in my opinion these games were the weakest of the series).
Command & Conquer for Windows 95’s Allied disc weighs in at 580MB while the NOD disc goes for 565MB.
Meanwhile, the best (for me and probably for many others) Command & Conquer: Red Alert comes in at 500MB and 502MB for the Allied and Soviet discs respectively.
Oh, and don’t forget to run these things in compatibility mode with your respective operating systems. Head on over here to download these Command & Conquer classic games now!
Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight is already available for pre-order at Amazon plus they currently have a pre-order bonus going on.
Pre-order Bonus
Pre-order Command & Conquer 4 and receive beta access, a bonus single player mission and the Command & Conquer 4 soundtrack. Access code will be e-mailed within 10 business days after you place your order. Offer valid when shipped and sold by Amazon.com, while supplies last. Limit one per customer.
