I have noticed on the Elemental Designs (eD) thread at the AVS Forum that people ordering the A5-350 get the product just a few days after ordering. It is definitely unusual since I have mentioned that they usually take 3 to 4 weeks to build a subwoofer.

Well, some things have changed over at eD. They seem to be making popular subwoofer models readily available for shipping. I asked what other models are considered as in stock and ready to ship. Matt Tower, of eD, replied that they also have stocks of the A3-300 and that other models will be following in the next couple of weeks.

Another thing to take note of is that they now seem to be making efforts in providing user manuals/owner’s guide for their products.

Here is some information on the A3/A5 owner’s guide. The guide, currently posted on a thread at eD’s forum, tackles setting up the subwoofer(s) with the included eQ.2. If I understand correctly, the statement below says that you get a free eQ.2 (valued at $100) when you purchase either an A3-300 or A5-350.

Since we’re now including free eQ.2’s with these cabinets we want to make sure you’ve got a good idea of where everything should be set.

To find out which Elemental Designs (eD) subwoofers are in stock and ready to ship, go to this page, select “Yes” for Only List In Stock Items? and then press Update Listings.

For now, only the A3-300 and A5-350 are listed. Hopefully that’ll change soon. I would guess that the next model to be readily available in stock would be their popular A2-300. Good work eD!
