Some of you might wonder why some of the Elemental Designs (eD) subwoofers have disappeared from their website, particularly the A3-300 and the A5-350. This is because they are redesigning the drivers being used in those two products, along with making modifications to the enclosure.

The redesigned A3-300’s (top) and A5-350’s (bottom) have quite a number of differences from their previous incarnations. Some of the differences include the following:

• More extension
• More overall SPL/output
• 100% EFS construction
• Standard matte finish at no additional cost
• Most importantly, it will ship the same day on its release date. That’s a great step-up for eD! No 3 to 4 week waiting times.
