The highly anticipated Oppo BDP-83 Blu-ray Disc Player is now available from the guys at Oppo themselves. You can also order the BDP-83 via Amazon.

Oppo initially offered the player via an Early Adoption Program (EAP) and also gave a chance for those who were left out of the EAP. This time, everyone can have their go at it.

List price is $599.99 but it seems that they’re taking orders now for just $499.99. Estimate shipping date is anytime today until July 3.

If you want something region free out-of-the-box, then get the Momitsu BDP-899 instead. You’ll lose the awesome DVD upscaling that Oppo’s are known for though.
