Apple has reportedly sold one million units of their newly released iPhone 3GS in just a span of 3 days, the same rate their iPhone 3G did a year ago.

It remains to be seen if sales will continue to increase steadily just like the iPhone 3G. Meanwhile, iPhone 3.0 software downloads have already amounted to six million in just a short span of 5 days.

I applaude Apple because they give the updates to all their phones, not just the new ones. Nokia and Sony Ericcson should follow in their footsteps.
