Duracell, world famous battery manufacturer, is coming out with a Palm Touchstone-like device in the form of a wireless charging pad called the myGrid.
The myGrid charging pad from Duracell works by connecting the pad to an AC outlet, and attaching a Power Sleeve or Power Clip to compatible Apple, BlackBerry, Motorola or Nokia mobile phones. Additional Power Sleeve purchases are required for the iPhone, iPod touch, BlackBerry Curve and BlackBerry Pearl.
Duracell myGrid(TM) charging pad – Consumers can enjoy a better daily charging experience with this device that eliminates the mess of multiple cords by simultaneously charging multiple devices, such as cell phones, MP3 music players or other mobile devices. Once the charging pad is plugged in, your devices can go cordless. By simply fitting a device with a Power Sleeve(TM) or Power Clip(TM), you can drop your device on myGrid(TM) and go.
The Duracell myGrid wireless charging pad is set to make its debut on October 2009. For more information regarding the product, click here.
