CrackBerry forum member kurpaige ordered a BlackBerry Tour 9630 smartphone from Sprint but to his surprise, the box contained a Verizon-branded BlackBerry Tour instead!

Internally, the device is Sprint’s BlackBerry Tour indeed, as confirmed by the user. Even the bezel of the device is chrome (or the lighter bezel) as opposed to Verizon’s BlackBerry Tour, which has a darker bezel.

There would probably be some employees scratching their heads over this once the user decides to ask for support at a physical Sprint store location. Why the heck are you asking for support for a Verizon phone on a Sprint store!?

Makes everyone wonder what precautions Sprint will be taking in order to prevent this mishap from ever happening again.
