Verizon is getting the HTC Touch Diamond2 sometime later this year and it will rumoredly be codenamed “Whitestone.”
It’s also getting a bit of a makeover with what looks similar to metallic speaker grills (or an extremely fine cheese grater!).
Specifications include but are not limited to:
- WM6.1 (would’ve been nicer if they were able to squeeze in WM6.5 instead)
- Qualcomm 7600 @ 528MHz
- 512MB ROM/256MB RAM
- 3.6-inch WVGA (800 x 480) touchscreen
- 5-megapixel autofocus camera/Anti-handshaking
- gpsOne (aGPS and full GPS)
- GSM/CDMA World phone
According to the guys over at WMExperts, September/October 2009 is likely the release window for the blinged out device.
