Amazon is slashing $60 off the price of its wireless reading e-ink device, the Kindle 2. While the Kindle 2‘s screen may appear diminutive compared to its bigger-screened brother, the Kindle DX, it’s definitely more portable.
The Kindle 2 is pretty much the same as the 9.7-inch-screened Kindle DX, with the exception of the latter having display rotation, bigger storage capacity and, of course, bigger screen.
Amazon’s Kindle 2 is now just $299, down from its initial price of $359 almost five months ago.
