AT&T Nokia E71x with S60v3 FP2, out on March 24, 2009

This is pretty old news for your frequent mobile phone shoppers out there, but here goes. The AT&T Nokia E71x is reportedly going to run on Symbian S60 3rd edition Feature Pack 2 (S60v3 FP2). For a list of significant improvements over FP1, you can check out the list here.

The unbranded/unlocked versions available since last year only run on S60v3 FP1. The AT&T Nokia E71x will be priced at $199.99 after mail-in rebate and with a two-year AT&T contract. Radio Shack will apparently be selling it for $149.99 without any rebates. Release date of the AT&T Nokia E71x is said to be on March 24, 2009. It will come in a full black colored scheme as opposed to the unbranded one’s black/silver chrome.

Here in the Philippines an unbranded/unlocked, one-year warrantied Nokia E71 goes for around $400.
