People have always wanted USB flash drives that are smaller than they can handle. Buffalo has introduced the RUF2 16GB, which is only 5mm deep (body only, doesn’t include the USB plug).
The Buffalo RUF2 16GB USB Flash Drive will be available from a Japan-based source via GeekStuff4U starting at the end of June 2009. It is priced at ¥12,980 or around $135 USD.
I personally still prefer those 2-inch long ones with capless designs, something similar to the Kingston DataTraveler 200. The size of the Buffalo RUF2 16GB USB Flash Drive is very much comparable to the Logitech VX Nano’s USB receiver.
