The HTC Snap aims to give its users an all new e-mail experience via the “Inner Circle” function. The feature is activated via a button on the lower rightmost part of the keypad, it is indicated by a green circle. By “Inner Circle,” HTC means people whom you specifically put into a custom group or simply those you consider to be in your “Inner Circle.”
While QWERTY input is certainly a good thing for easier messaging on mobile phones, eliminating the touchscreen functionality altogether certainly has its downfalls. For one, you’ll have a hard time navigating the internet browser, should you decide to use it. I guess they remedied it by utilizing trackball navigation instead of the more conventional directional pad.
The size of the HTC Snap will be pretty convenient for more users since it is just a tad larger than the Nokia E71. Screen size is 2.4-inch with QVGA resolution (320 x 240), go here to find the rest of the standard issue Windows Mobile phone specifications for the HTC Snap.

Release date of the device is set sometime second quarter of 2009. It will eventually get rolled out to the rest of the world by the second half of 2009. No price has been mentioned.
