Apparently the producers/writers of Jericho are wanting to give the series another chance by making something for the big screen. Jericho’s executive producer/director, Jon Turteltaub, mentions that you don’t exactly have to be a fan of the series to fully appreciate the movie.

Jericho is about how the residents of a small fictional town in Kansas, try to find their way after the United States is shattered by nuclear blasts. The people and the government are divided, with various factions trying to establish their own order.

Overall, I’m really interested with what they can come up with for the movie. Jericho was axed off the air when it returned for its 2nd season (only 7 episodes) because the ratings didn’t deliver.
