Though the Apple iPhone may be running short on some features compared to other mobile phones, it’s still selling like hotcakes because of the multitude of available applications.
The iPhone may have crippled Bluetooth features, unavailability of copy/paste options and MMS, but that doesn’t stop Apple from raking in more dough. The Apple App Store has a vast arsenal of applications, from simple tools to highly interactive games.
Looking at the New York Times advertising rates, I am pretty sure Apple shelled out a hefty amount for the full page Sunday ad. But surely they would get everything back within a week. Way to go Steve! There are currently over 25,000+ iPhone applications available.
