NHT apparently shut down last March 31, 2009. Chris Byrne, co-founder of NHT, emphasizes that the company is now fully web-based but also mentions that you can still buy from your favorite installers or retailers.

This means that everything will come straight from them, with the retailers or installers getting a portion of the cut if the sale is made through them. Due to becoming fully web-based, original suggested retail prices have been cut by up to 30%. As of this moment, NHT is working on eight product concepts. Stay tuned for those.

Welcome to NHT 2.0!

And welcome to our new website. It doesn’t look much different at first glance, but it is, significantly. NHT has become entirely web-based and in doing so has fundamentally changed the way we market our brand. And we’re very excited,

What does all this mean to you?

It means our prices have been permanently reduced by as much as 30% from their original suggested retail. You can still buy NHT through your favorite retailer or installer and now you can buy directly from the factory.

It means we have redirected resources at new product development in a much broader assortment of applications. We have about eight concepts in process right now. It also means no matter where you buy, your NHT speakers will be delivered to your home or job site direct from our factory. It makes sense. The speakers take a single trip, which saves energy, saves money, saves time…everybody benefits.

Our web business is going to be a “living” process, lots more change and adjustments to come. You can help. First, help us spread the word. Second, give us feedback.
