This re-release of the Sony VAIO P Series in Japan, is virtually every bit the same as the currently available VAIO P, albeit with some minor adjustments such as the availability of other colors and the inclusion of Windows XP SP3 instead of Windows Vista.
The Sony VAIO P Series features an Intel Atom Z520 chipset at 1.33ghz. 8-inch screen with 1600×768 resolution, 1GB of RAM and an 80GB HDD. Integrated WiFi 802.11B/G/N and Bluetooth 2.1 are also aboard this highly pocketable (and expensive) netbook. A 2Ghz option along with 256GB SSD is also available.
The new colors are called Garnet Red, Crystal White, Peridot, and Gold. Expect this Windows XP SP3 loaded Sony VAIO P in Japan starting on June 6, 2009. This extremely tiny and sexy netbook will run you ¥85,000 (approximately $900 USD).
