Yahoo’s popular instant messaging client is now available for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Here is the official download link of the Yahoo! Messenger application for the iPhone/iPod Touch. If you’re using the iPhone, you need version 2.0 or later to run the application.

The application basically has the same features as its desktop counterpart:

• Send instant messages in real-time to your friends
• Instantly share photos from your iPhone
• Stay in control with stealth settings
• Show your style with emoticons and avatars
• Quickly access your most recent conversations
• Set a custom Status message to share with friends
