Nokia E71 in the Philippines available in Grey Steel, White Steel, Red Steel and Black Steel

The Nokia E71 has been out in the Philippines for quite a while now. Colors available were Grey Steel and White Steel. However, I have recently found out that they have added two new colors into the mix, Red Steel and Black Steel (similar to AT&T’s Nokia E71x without the ugly AT&T branding on the bottom front part). Nokia E71′s in the Philippines go for around P19,000 ($395 USD) and comes with a full year of official Nokia warranty.

Nokia E71 (Black Steel) Front and Back The Black Steel version just looks so sleek compared to the initial Grey Steel offering, The Red Steel variant is not too attractive, in my opinion. Nokia has a reputation of releasing black colored models at a later date because they know lots of people will still buy them.

Since I mentioned AT&T’s Nokia E71x on this post, I might as well mention that the E71x will feature Feature Pack 2 of Symbian S60 3rd Edition while the Nokia E71 only utilizes Feature Pack 1. Hopefully, Nokia will make a software update for E71 users in the near future.
