It’s definitely not a secret that there are tons of available applications for the iPhone. To date, there are approximately over 25,000 iPhone applications. However some people may not know that there is also a high number of developers who are not being welcomed by Apple.

The rejection of some developers by Apple may be due to a number of reasons. One of which may be that the application is not on par with Apple’s stringent quality control standards.

I would consider Apple iPhone gaming as a miniaturized version of the Nintendo Wii, because the game the games are highly interactive. There are no buttons or directional pads to press. Simply just interact with the objects right on your screen. With some games, you even tilt the phone to invoke an in-game action, a particular example would be a driving game.

Though the Apple iPhone may be running short on some features compared to other mobile phones, it’s still selling like hotcakes because of the multitude of available applications.

Jay Freeman, the developer of Cydia (a package installer/manager for the iPhone and iPod Touch), has decided he wants to open a jailbroken counterpart of the Apple App Store. Many developers turn to Cydia if they are put down by Apple. According to one of Jay’s Twitter updates, the Cydia Store will initially use Amazon Payments but will also add PayPal by sometime next week. This is probably because PayPal is greatly used by people around the globe.
