DSLR photography tip: Slow shutter zooming

I like doing experiments with my DSLR camera. That is the main reason I opted to go DSLR instead of point-and-shoot because I know there is a whole different world to taking pictures with a DSLR.

DSLR photography tip: Auto focus override

Here’s a tip for those of you that have lenses with an auto focus override.

I’ve only tried this on lighted lettering. What you do is focus on the subject, click on the shutter and then rotate the auto focus override by a certain degree to achieve a fading out or glowing effect. The shutter setting should be set low enough for you to be able to rotate the auto focus override.

Some may argue that photography is having sharp photos. I beg to disagree, I believe that photography is being creative beyond your limits.
