Nokia Surge to be released worldwide as 6760

Nokia 6760 a.k.a Nokia Surge

Nokia will be releasing the Surge as the Nokia 6760 in locations other than the United States. The 6760 is every bit the same as the Nokia Surge, except that the former has a slightly higher megapixel count. 6760 features a 3.2 megapixel shooter while the Surge only shoots in 2 megapixels.

Nokia E72 gets FCC approval

Nokia E72

The Nokia E72 apparently has just been given approval by the FCC, which means that it’ll be arriving in US stores soon. The photo shown above is of an unbranded E72, expect to pay a pretty penny for one of these if carriers are not going to subsidize the particular model.

AT&T Nokia Surge (with QWERTY Slide-out Keyboard)

I guess it’s about time Nokia came up with something to rival T-Mobile’s Sidekick LX 2009. Nokia’s “socially supercharged” Surge features a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and runs on the Symbian S60 interface. It also features a 2.4″ QVGA (320 x 240) resolution screen, HSDPA connectivity up to 3.6Mbps, 2 megapixel camera, microSD expansion up to 8GB. It runs on a 1500mAh battery, same as the E71x if I’m not mistaken, which definitely means that you’ll get loads of talk and standby time.
