Star Wars lightsaber stylus for Nintendo DS Lite/DSi

Browsing for some odd-looking Nintendo DS Lite/DSi accessories the other day, I happen to stumble upon these miniature Star Wars lightsabers which act as stylus for Nintendo’s portable gaming system.

There are two variants of these lightsaber stylus. First are your simple, non-light-up red, blue and green miniature lightsabers 3-pack which feature different grip styles and of course, blade colors. Note that due to their unusual design, they won’t blend seamlessly with the stylus slot of your Nintendo DS Lite.

The second variant is your uber-cool light-up green and red lightsabers. I’m not entirely sure as to what type of batteries these things use of if they’re replaceable. I would guess that they take one or a few really small button batteries. The light-up lightsabers stylus variant comes in a 2-pack and considering their huge size, they will definitely not be able to fit into your DS Lite’s stylus slot.

Both of these products are officially licensed by both Nintendo and LucasArts. You can get the 3-pack regular lightsabers stylus pack for $3 and the light-up ones for $16.

Star Wars lightsaber chopsticks, hitting Japan on November 2009: The force is strong with this one!

These miniature lightsaber chopsticks surely won’t cut through your food like they would in a movie. But if you’re a Star Wars geek or fan, these things definitely have some place in your kitchen or household.

The Star Wars lightsaber chopsticks pay particular attention to detail on the grips, along with the length of the colored blade, Yoda’s green lightsaber is a tad shorter than Darth Vader’s or Luke Skywalker’s.

These Star Wars lightsaber chopsticks are set to invade Japan on November 25, 2009 for ¥960 or approximately $10 USD. They will be officially available via Amazon Japan in red, blue or green lightsaber blade colors.

Japan has these amazing looking detailed chopsticks while the US has those deformed bobbleheaded Star Wars USB flash drives, fair enough.

Star Wars 2GB USB flash drives (Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, Yoda)

USB flash drives simply have LOTS of cool and unusual designs, and I mean LOTS! Just check out these Funko Star Wars 2GB USB Flash Drives which come in either Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, or Yoda!

They sort of look like bobbleheads because of the gigantic heads which act as the USB plug cover. Entertainment Earth is selling these for $24.99 each. They only come in 2GB capacity, are 3-inch in height and will be released on October 2009.

Some numbers on the packaging indicate how much of each type of data you can fit on the 2GB drive, such as: 1080 6-megapixel photos, 33 hours of MP3 music or 12 hours of MPEG-4 video.

Sure, these things are more than twice as expensive than your usual 2GB USB flash drives which are selling everywhere online for just less than $10 each, but you simply can’t get these designs anywhere else.
