The T-Mobile Touch Pro2 is on track for its August 12th release, as confirmed by a press release. The HTC-manufactured smartphone was originally set to drop last July 22nd but was delayed to make way for T-Mobile’s myTouch 3G Android handset.

No details on pricing as of yet. The image above is what the T-Mobile-branded Touch Pro2 will look like, which is slightly aesthetically different than the unbranded black/silver version.

I wonder why T-Mobile entitled this video as Unboxing the new T-Mobile Sidekick LX, when in fact it shows almost nothing about the contents inside the box of the T-Mobile Sidekick LX 2009.

The Sidekick LX from 2007 is getting an update this year, with a bigger and higher resolution screen, better camera, GPS, 3G and a larger capacity battery.
