Amazon UK’s pre-order for Windows 7 officially went live on July 15, 2009 at 00:00 BST and the “promo” is set to end on August 9, 2009 at 23:59 BST. But don’t wait until the last minute because the offer is good only while supplies last! The US pre-order of Windows 7 just ended a couple of days ago. Now, it’s Europe’s turn!

Microsoft’s Windows 7 will be generally available starting October 22, 2009. That’s a day earlier than the release of Acer’s all-in-one Z5600 PC, which is loaded with Windows 7.
