
It seems like Microsoft is looking to re-use its first generation Zune’s slide-up box packaging style for the Zune HD. If this is to be believed, the 720p output-capable device supposedly paraded itself at various Best Buy locations for demonstration/preview.

Looking to pre-order the Microsoft Zune HD but not quite convinced to do so yet? Sure, it has the Tegra chip from NVIDIA but is that enough to persuade you? NVIDIA has a PDF document listing Best Buy locations across the United States which will have the Zune HD for demonstration/preview.

Microsoft’s Zune HD can now be pre-ordered via Amazon, Best Buy, WalMart or the Microsoft Store. The 16GB fetches for $219.99 while 32GB goes for $289.99. The Zune HD will be available at retail locations starting September 15, 2009.
